Visit A - Advanced Global Electronics Technology
  Samsung Electronics
Samsung Electronics located in Giheung, Korea has been recognized as the world's leading producer of highly respected IT goods. Samsung has realized well that safety, health and environment are key elements in enterprise management activities, establishing and operating ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. It also set up the GMIS (Green Management Information System), pursuing efficient productivity and systematic information management.
Visit B - The Most Efficient Oil Refining Company
  SK Incheon Oil
SK Incheon Oil, an oil refinery, consists of a crude oil distillation unit that allows for processing 275,000 barrels of crude oil a day, a vacuum distillation unit, a hydro-desulfurization unit and a sulfur recovery unit. The company has established a safety, health, and environment management system to cope with a change in the managerial environment systematically, pursuing the continuous improvement in safety, health and environment. Participants can have a better understanding of the oil company's safety and health system by visiting SK Incheon Oil.
Visit C - Safety and health management in theme parks
  EVERLAND
From the Technical Visit to Korea's largest vacation resort, Everland, participants will learn how safety and health management system is applied to domestic employees and visitors. They will also experience how the periodic preventative evaluation on safety and health related structure facilities benefit visitors by maximizing their safety. Additionally, the Technical Visit will review fire prevention strategies and emergency medical response for the entire Everland site.
Visit D - Advanced Global Motors Technology
  KIA Motors
KIA Motors has introduced the national and international safety and health management system by achieving the global certification of OHSAS 18001 as well as the domestic one of KOSHA 18001, performing the safety management in an organized way. Participants can have hands-on experience of the safety and health prevention management system by visiting the mechanized auto plant and the assembly plant of KIA Motors.
Visit E -Incheon Bridge Construction Site
  Incheon Bridge Project
Incheon Bridge Project is one of a significant Bridge construction project making headlines internationally among bridge engineering experts. This project aims to be one of the longest sea-crossing highway bridges, where it ranks 5th on main span length in the world and 1st in Korea. Incheon Bridge is composed of Cable Stayed Bridge (CSB) - the major characteristic - Approach Bridge and Viaduct that are being built from east/west side of CSB and Toll Plaza. Currently, various construction sites of the bridge are being built simultaneously. Participants will learn best practices for risk assessment and systematic safety and health management by visiting the Incheon Bridge construction site.
Visit F - Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency
  Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency
KOSHA is a non-profit government agency established under the authority of the Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency Act(Law No. 3931) promulgated on May 30, 1987. It contributes to the development of national economy by providing a safe and comfortable working environment for workers' promoting employers to actively conduct accident prevention activities, and implementing a wide array of industrial accident prevention activities. Participants can learn about KOSHA's various accidents prevention projects, such as KOSHA 18001 Certification system, "S" Mark Safety Certification system, Process Safety Management (PSM), Technical support for workplaces, Education & training programs, and Financial support programs.
