When will the detailed schedules and speakers for each session be posted on-line?
The time and date for each scheduled programme session has been fixed, while the speakers for it have not been specifically arranged. The detailed schedules and speakers for each session will be posted on-line in early 2008.
Is the Safety and Health Summit accessible to everyone?
No, it is a high-level meeting with invited attendees.
Will the organizers of the XVIII World Congress (ILO/ISSA/KOSHA) organize the Symposia?

The organizers of the World Congress usually organize the Symposia. However, safety and health institutes confirmed by the organizers of the Congress organize the Symposia at the XVIII World Congress.
In what way is each symposium going to be run?
There are no definite ways for the running of the Symposia. Confirmed Symposium organizers are going to run the symposia in their own way. For detailed information on the Symposia, please refer to the Symposia linked page.
What shall I do in order for me to make a presentation at the Symposia of the XVIII World Congress?
Please click here for abstract submission fill out online this Call for Papers on the website with reference to the Symposia linked page, it will automatically be sent to the symposium organizers.
When will I be notified if my Call for Papers was selected?
The symposium organizers will select papers for presentation by December 30, 2007 and then inform each candidate. A list will be posted on the official website of the XVIII World Congress after January 15, 2008.
What is the Poster Session?
A poster consists of a visual display of text, graphs, tables, diagrams, photographs, or a combination of these, on a poster board. The posters representing national and international safety and health related themes, diverse cases, and best practices will be displayed throughout the Congress. Poster authors will be asked to be available at a certain time to discuss their work with Congress participants interested in their particular posters. The Secretariat for XVIII World Congress on Safety and Health at Work is planning to print the posters and display them at no cost to the presenters of the posters. Click here for more information.
When can I set up my poster and remove my poster?
You can set up your poster on Saturday June 28, 2008 (afternoon) and you can take down your poster on Wednesday July 2, 2008 (afternoon).
As a poster presenter, do I need to register for the XVIII World Congress?

Yes, all poster presenters need to register for the World Congress at the listed Registration Fee.

Are poster presenters responsible for their own hotel and travel expenses?
