AP-01 Into the Korean Culture

Itinerary : Bugak Sky Way (Drive or Morning Walk) - Bukchon Hanok Village (Bukchon Cultural Center, Korean Traditional Knots Gallery, Traditional Embroidery Gallery) – The National Museum of Korea
Bugak Skyway is probably the most scenic drive in Seoul as well-trimmed trees line both sides of the road trailing through Mt. Bukak. You can also enjoy a magnificent view from Octagonal Pavilion Park, the highest point of the Bugak Skyway.
Bukchon Hanok Village has no tall buildings, and most
buildings are in the form of a Hanok (traditional Korean house),
recreating the traditional Korean lifestyle experience for
visitors. Also located nearby is the Bukchon Cultural Center, which houses the Museum for Knotting and Embroidery.
National Museum of Korea
holds a collection of approximately 150,000 works of art including perm-anent collections of ancient and historic artifacts, donated works of art, and antiques from other Asian countries.  A variety of historic relics constructed using stone as well as stone pagodas are exhibited outside the museum.

AP-03 Experience Korean Culture

Itinerary : Gyeongbok Palace & The National Folk Museum of Korea - (pass by Blue House - Yoo's Family (Wearing Hanbok, Calligraphy, Rice cake cooking, Learning greetings)
Gyeongbok Palace was built in the late 14th century by the founder of the Joseon Dynasty. The majestic edifice, "Geunjeongjeon," and the spacious 2-story pavilion "Gyeongheoru," are nestled in the middle of lotus pond "Hyangwonjeong".
The National Folk Museum of Korea is also situated in the palace compound.
It displays the religious rituals, dwelling customs, household tools, food, and traditional costumes and the social dynamics of traditional Korean life. There are 20,000 artefacts, and 4,000 folk relics. Participants may compare the cultural characteristics and vestiges by period and see the development of pottery, agricultural implements and prints.

Insadong Antique Shop Alley is lines with curio shops, antique furniture and handicrafts shops, calligraphy brush and mask shops, galleries, traditional Korean restaurants, tearooms, and many more intriguing places. Insadong is frequently by local and foreign visitors all year around, it is the most renowned area for Korean antiques and find art and excellent place to sense a genuine feeling of Korea of old and new.
As Korea's largest and oldest traditional market, Namdaemun Market is such a good place to compare the lowest prices for all sorts of goods, while being a barometer of Seoul's economic situation. It is also a world-famous shopping paradise and a visitor attraction.
AP-05 Art & Culture of Korea

Itinerary : Samsung Museum of Art Leeum - Itaewon Special Tourist Zone
Leeum, overlooking the Han River, is located at Namsan. Leeum is made up of three themes, the past, present, and future arts and culture. Each of the three buildings reflects the individuality of its designers. With the use of diverse materials and progressive technology, the buildings themselves are works of art. Mario Bottas utilizes solid forms of terracotta, symbolizing earth and fire, to express the beauty of Korea's porcelain in Museum 1. Jean Nouvels is the world's first to use rusted steel and glass in Museum 2. Rem Koolhaas' black concrete structure creates abstract space and reflects his futuristic architectural design.
Itaewon Special Tourist Zone is a popular tourist and shopping destination for foreigners who visit Korea.
There are over 2,000 stores clustered together with shopping centers, shops selling clothes, shoes, and bags, restaurants, recreation facilities, trading companies, travel agencies, and tourist hotels. The many English signs and many foreigners will make you feel as if you are not in Korea.
AP-06 Making Kimchi

Itinerary : Yoo's Family (Making Kimchi) - Namsangol Hanok Village - Deoksugung
Kimchi is the best known Korean food. It is vegetable dish, highly seasoned with pepper, garlic, etc. It is served with every kind of Korean meal and it stimulates the appetite like pickles. "Kimchi" contains amounts of good nutrition such as vitamin C, and fiber. Visitors can enjoy making Korean food which is regarded as a health food at Yoo's home.
Namsangol Hanok Village in order to recreate the beauty of the ancient times, a traditional Korean garden, through which flows a stream, with a pavilion in the woods were constructed. Five traditional Korean houses, including houses of commoners, and the residences of high government officials- owners of the eight largest mansions in Seoul were moved onto a 7,934 square-meter.
Deoksugung is one of the Korean palaces, which represents typical characteristics of palace architecture during the Joseon Dynasty. It was originally the residence of Prince Wolsan, the elder brother of King Seongjong, but was used as the main royal palace by later kings. King Gojong, the next-to-last King of Joseon Dynasty, remained here even after being forced to abdicate the throne by the Japanese in 1907 until his death in 1919.
