Welcome to the press center for the XVIII World Congress on Safety and Health at Work and the 24th APOSHO Annual Conference. The Press Center will serve hundreds of print, broadcast and online journalists from around the world who are covering the World Congress and the 24th APOSHO Annual Conference in Seoul, Korea from June 29 to July 2, 2008.
The World Congress on Safety and Health at Work is an international gathering of more than 2,500 health and safety experts who come together every three years to exchange new technologies, information, and best practices related to the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases.
The 2008 World Congress in Korea will be the second time that the World Congress is being held in Asia, the first having been held in India in 1993. The International Labour Organization (ILO), International Social Security Association (ISSA), and Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) jointly organize the world¡¯s largest event in the field of the safety and health at work. The 24th APOSHO Annual Conference is organized by KOSHA.
The Press Center will be open from June 29 through July 2, 2008. The hours are: Sunday 12:00-17:00 and Monday - Wednesday 8:30 - 17:00.

Meeting Registration Fees for the event will be waived for credentialed journalists.
Please check the
Press Guidelines before registering.
The following will be accepted as credentials for media:
Business card clearly showing media affiliation (a print, broadcast, or online news
organization) and position (editor, writer, producer, reporter, etc.)
Freelance journalists must have an assignment letter from a print, broadcast, or online
news organization. |

Media professionals to register before May 31, 2008; otherwise they will need to register on-site at the COEX Convention Center in Seoul, Korea. After reviewing the Press Guidelines, please download and complete the Registration Form.
